Friendship Day was celebrated with joy and creativity by the Pre-Primary Section of DAV Public School, Nerul on 1st August 2025. The celebration provided a meaningful opportunity for children to understand the values of love, kindness and emotional connection.

Each class engaged in a unique hands-on activity that brought alive the spirit of friendship. The youngest ones made colourful lollipop tokens using cotton and glitter paper, exchanging them with happy smiles and warm wishes. The students of Junior Kg designed adorable friendship puppets using ice cream sticks, paint and googly eyes, promoting teamwork and appreciation as they shared their creations. The senior-most learners crafted heart-shaped friendship sticks and wrote kind messages about their friends. They also came together to sing a cheerful Friendship Day rhyme, filling the air with laughter and bonding.

The day beautifully blended art, self-expression and emotional learning—helping the little ones create lasting memories and strong early friendships.
