D.A.V. Public School, Nerul, in collaboration with the N.R.I. Police Station, Navi Mumbai, organised a powerful Anti-Drug Awareness Drive on 14th August 2025 to sensitise students about the harmful effects of substance abuse. The initiative aimed to empower young minds with the knowledge and determination to make healthy, responsible choices.

The programme featured an engaging address by the Sr. Inspector Mr. Satish Kadam of N.R.I. Police Station, who spoke to the students of Class IX about the severe consequences of drug abuse on health, academics and future prospects. He urged them to remain vigilant and resist peer pressure.

Ms. Mukta Baurai highlighted the importance of discipline, strong values and wise decision-making.

As a mark of solidarity, students formed a human chain within the school premises, symbolising unity in the fight against drugs. Holding vibrant posters and banners with impactful messages such as 'Say No to Drugs' and 'Choose Life Over Addiction,' they pledged to remain drug-free and spread awareness.
