Fun Fiesta

A fabulous Fun Fiesta was successfully organized on 18th January 2025, blending fun, creativity and entertainment for students and parents alike. The event, held from 3:00 pm onwards, was filled with enthusiasm and joy. The funfair commenced with a warm welcome to everyone, setting the tone for an evening full of excitement. The chief guests, Ms. Simmi Juneja, ARO Western Region Zone A and Principal of DAV Public School, Thane, and Ms. Hema Nair, Principal of DAV International School, Mulund, graced the occasion with their presence. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and prosperity.

The cultural program kicked off with a mesmerizing Kathak dance performance by students of Class 9, which left the audience spellbound. This was followed by the symbolic releasing of balloons by the guests, representing hope and joy for the future. Students enthusiastically participated in the Fancy Dress Competition, showcasing their creativity and talent through themed costumes. Nursery and Class 5 students embraced themes like retro, Bollywood, and attire from different countries, while Jr KG and Class 4 students donned fairytale, fantasy, and fictional character costumes. Sr KG and Class 3 participants portrayed Disney duos and other fictional characters, while students from Classes 1 and 2 focused on retro, Bollywood, or Indian royal attire. Each performance was judged based on creativity, presentation, costume design, and theme relevance. The Parent-Child Fashion Show was the highlight of the evening. Families worked together to present captivating performances on stage, impressing the audience with their creativity and teamwork. The Lucky Draw added to the excitement as Ms. Mukta Baurai announced the names of two lucky families, bringing smiles to everyone present.

The music and songs by the students of Class 11 added a soulful touch to the event. Their performances, featuring a mix of contemporary and popular tunes,left the audience enthralled. The students' talent and passion for music shone through, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that elevated the entire evening. The funfair featured a variety of engaging activities and delicious food. Game stalls such as Bowl Ball Challenge, Aao Sajaao Aur Inaam Pao, Cup Catch Craze, Creative Cluster, Mind Game, and Rainbow Rumble kept participants entertained. In addition, the Tickle Your Brain game and Add to 21 provided a fun mental challenge for all ages. Art and craft activities included face painting, making customized hair accessories, and foil painting greeting cards. Food stalls offered delicious treats such as popcorn, twisted chips, pav bhaji, and more. For thrill-seekers, rides like the bouncing castle and merry-go-round were available. The magic show was a delightful spectacle, featuring whimsical tricks that captured the little one's imagination. The magician involved the children in the act, making them feel as though they were part of the magic, which added an element of excitement and wonder. The performance was full of surprises, leaving the young audience both amazed and thoroughly entertained. The evening concluded with an energetic music and band performance, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere. Fun Feastia was a grand success, leaving students, parents, and teachers with cherished memories. The event not only provided entertainment but also fostered creativity and a sense of community among all participants.
