PAPER BAG

The students of DAV Public School, from Sr. Kg to Class 2, enthusiastically celebrated Paper Bag Day on 12 July 2024. The event aimed to educate the children about the significance of using paper bags instead of plastic bags and promote eco-friendliness. The students were first briefed about the importance of Paper Bag Day and the harmful effects of plastic bags on the environment. Then, they engaged in a fun-filled activity of making their own paper bags using paper and decorating them with colorful designs and slogans. The slogans written by the students reflected their creativity and understanding of the cause, such as:

- "Save the Earth, Use Paper Bags"

- "Go Green, Avoid Plastic"

- "Paper Bags are the Way"

- "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"

The activity not only taught the students about the value of paper bags but also developed their fine motor skills, creativity, and teamwork. The event concluded with the students proudly carrying their handmade paper bags, spreading awareness about the importance of eco-friendly practices. The school's initiative to observe Paper Bag Day instilled a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness in the young minds, preparing them to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
