On 1st July 2024, DAV Public School celebrated Doctors Day with great enthusiasm, aiming to educate young students about the significance of doctors in our lives. The celebration was meticulously organized for students from Nursery to Class 2 incorporating various engaging activities.

Nursery students participated in an interactive activity where they learned about the symbol of a doctor, the plus sign. They enthusiastically stuck plus signs on cut-outs of sheets, symbolizing the importance of doctors in our society.

Junior KG students engaged in a creative collage-making activity. They decorated pictures of doctors with vibrant materials, emphasizing the visual representation of doctors as caregivers and healers.

Senior KG students crafted their own miniature doctor's kits using craft paper. This hands-on activity allowed them to understand the tools and instruments doctors use to treat patients, fostering a sense of appreciation for medical professionals.

Teachers from Class 1 and 2 took on the roles of various types of doctors including dentists, dermatologists, surgeons, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, and more. They performed in the designated stilt area in front of the students, demonstrating the responsibilities and contributions of each type of doctor in our daily lives.

Class 1 students expressed their creativity by drawing pictures of doctors in their scrapbooks, further reinforcing the admiration for medical professionals.

Class 2 students made doctors' coats using white paper, embodying the attire of doctors and understanding their distinctive appearance.

The celebration was not only educational but also interactive, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding and respect for the medical profession. The event successfully instilled values of empathy and gratitude towards doctors who tirelessly work to keep us healthy.
