DAV FOUNDATION DAY

Today, 1st June, 2024 DAV Public School, Nerul paused to celebrate its rich past and its promising future as we celebrated the DAV Foundation Day.

The first D.A.V. School was started at Lahore on 1st June 1886 in the memory of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, a versatile genius, social reformer, educationist, a benefactor of humanity and a harbinger of the national movement. The school received tremendous success in imparting education. Since its inception, the D.A.V. institutions have played a significant role in education.

Ms. Mukta Baurai in her address to the gathering, highlighted the institution's core values, the life of the committed educationist and their role in shaping the future. The aim of the D.A.V. Schools is to inculcate in students a thirst for knowledge, devotion to duty, honesty and a patriotic fervour besides humanism.

This was followed by the auspicious havan where prayers were offered to God to seek his divine blessings. The whole atmosphere was filled with beautiful chanting of the mantras.
