Global Hand Wash Day Activity
D.A.V Public School, Nerul celebrated Global Hand Wash Day for the Pre primary students on 13th October 2023. The primary objective was to teach the young learners the importance of hand hygiene and the proper technique of handwashing.
The day began with an engaging handwashing demonstration led by the teachers. Using kid-friendly language and visuals, they explained the importance of keeping hands clean to stay healthy and prevent the spread of germs.
The students then had the opportunity to practice what they had learned. Each child was provided with soap and access to a handwashing station. With gentle guidance from our teachers, they were encouraged to scrub their little hands thoroughly while singing a fun handwashing song.
To reinforce the lesson, a story about friendly characters who always washed their hands was shared with the children. This storytelling session not only entertained them but also imparted the importance of good hand hygiene.
The Global Hand Wash Day activity was a great success in teaching the kindergarten students about the importance of clean hands and proper handwashing techniques. It was not only a fun-filled day but also a significant step in instilling a lifelong habit of hygiene in these young minds.
We believe that these early lessons in hand hygiene will help keep our students healthy and create a future generation of responsible and health-conscious individuals.
