INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The ability to learn, thrive and achieve are central to the ethos of D.A.V. Public School ,Nerul . The institution believes that it is important for the students to experience leadership opportunities during their schooling. With this aim the school has an effective prefectorial system that empowers students to develop appropriate skills, attitudes and values. Prefects have a three-fold responsibility to be student leaders, to be worthy role models and also act as cultural ambassadors of the School. It is a privileged opportunity for young leaders of tomorrow to learn the ropes of leadership, maintain discipline and appropriate ethos among the student community and maintain the institution’s image as a leading academic institution not only in Maharashtra but also India.

The investiture ceremony for the session 2019-20 of D.A.V. Public School, Nerul was held on 15^th August in the school auditorium which is symbolic of the trust and confidence that the institution reposes in the  prefectorial body. Donning the mantle of responsibility, the members took an oath to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by rules and regulations of the school which was administered by Honourable Regional Director Western Zone, DAV CMC and Principal DAV Public School, Nerul, Shri Jose Kurian. While congratulating the newly elected prefectorial body Shri Kurian reminded the students of the great responsibility that has been bestowed upon them. It was an impressive sight to see The Head Boy,  the Head Girl, the Sports Captain, House Captains and Vice Captains standing proudly with the school flag held high, sincerity of purpose writ large on their faces, the future generation of nation builders. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem.
